Hi Guys,
Is this a real LBC? If so, could someone help me out!
All letters have been ignored and no contact has been made with them at all.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, but the crystal ball is a bit spotty at the moment (I think it might have got COVID), so unable to read the document that you have sitting in front of you. And Mystic Meg doesn't post here any more, so no help from that old bint now.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Treat it as a LBC and deal with it as per the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post.

They should have attached various documents that they suggest are available via a link, but they offer the opportunity to receive hard copies from their 'agent'. Well, give them something to do (and pay for) by asking for hard copies. But note, you do not fill out any of the documents, just get them - in the process, making yourself a bit of an added nuisance.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

CIS mention, "ethical approach, and "All cases are pre-checked for viability" on their web site, yet have included or allowed a fake £60 amount to be added.

Not very ethical and obviously not pre-checked for viability.

Where did the alleged event occur? Did you appeal the initial charge? Has the driver's identity been revealed.

What happened when you complained to the landowner?

Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam?

NPE ????    Typical junk from an IPC scam member.
YOU DO NOT OWE £160 ....... NPE ARE TALKING RUBBISH
    ABUSE OF PROCESS

    Dear Sirs,

I refer to your letter before claim for £160.  This amount is denied
I am somewhat bemused that you request I pay your agent, Credit Investigation Services who are simply acting as debt collectors and are completely meaningless within the Parking Industry ?
On a more serious note, you have added an amount of £60 which you claim are admin costs. You will be fully aware that courts dismiss such claims as Abuse of Process.  At this point, I request you advise me on what LEGAL AUTHORITY you have to add £60. Your reply will of course be made available to the court. You should also note that any such court claim must comply with the new CPR and if you include £60 in your Witness statement, I will bring this to the attention of the court.

In view of the above and the current COVID-19 crisis, it would be best for both parties that you now discontinue your claim and bear your own costs. In turn, I will not claim costs against you.
    Please reply within 7 days

    Yours faithfully

They didn't send anything else, apart from this letter.

Event occured in a Starbucks car park. Met my mate to have coffee, but he has called into work. So didn't actually go into Starbucks, but was only in the carpark for like 12 minutes
