One of my weekend projects is to lay that 'click togther' vinyl flooring.
Never having done this before can anyone give me an idea on degree of difficulty or even suggest it best left to an expert? I have a concern as its an L Shaped kitchen ..
Also any laying tips appreciated!
Thank you

Pretty easy to do. Just have a lot of Stanley knife blades and a good straight edge to do the cuts with.1

Make sure the floor is scrupulously cleaned before laying as anything sticking up may well show as a pimple on the flooring over time. On a timber floor make sure that all nail heads are knocked below the floorboard level.

I put down some wood fibre boards (as used for laminate flooring) before tiling my kitchen. Adds a little bit of insulation and also levels out any minor lumps & bumps. Plan out how you intend to lay the tiles on a sheet of graph paper first, and don't be afraid to do some trial runs before cutting any tiles. If I can do it, I'm sure you can too.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
You'll find the biggest challenge is cutting to shape near the door frame - it's a lot easier to cut the architraves and slide the flooring under than it is to cut the flooring to fit. Use a multitool to do the cutting of the architraves.0

You need to lay the floor under where the appliances go.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
