I used the golden oldies order line yesterday and today we got our order plus two free Easter eggs. The delivery couple were lovely, ever so pleasant.

My Mum in law ia 79 and I or OH do a 30 mile round trip to drop groceries outside home- can you tell me about this, if either of us need to isolate no idea what we can do, we purchase a small freezer and stocked it for her about 3 weeks ago just in case.0

Now managing to get weekly delivery slots from Tesco but only because I am on their priority list due to being registered with the government as clinically extremely vulnerable and in twelve weeks isolation.0

Sadly Morrisons do not deliver to my postal area, but I congratulate you ( and Morrisons) on your success,Fortyfoot. But, as on another Forum, I once again praise Ocado as the best online grocery delivery service, both during the current crisis and also very much so in "normal" times. I have deliveries booked with them once a week for the next 3 weeks till end of April, with more to follow as those slots are used up----I am a "smart-pass" holder so get "loyal customer"priority, but I am happy to say that the GOV vulnerable site gets special priority slots quite separately. Let's hope these invaluable delivery slots from all the online supermarkets keep opening up more and more now that the panic hoarders seem to have overfilled their freezers and cupboards----the delivery companies really are invaluable.
I also believe they are the future of grocery shopping during the next decade, perhaps even more so because of what customers have learned from the pandemic crisis. A big thanks to all their staff, particularly drivers/deliverers who have done so much by working in spite of risks and high work loads.-1 -
I’m on the hit list of shielded, and from trying all of them, I’d say Asda were the best at priority slots, then Morrison’s, then Sainsburys, but I have found Tesco to be dire.It could depend on area, and availability of drivers though. You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0
