Time to get the covers off the Jenson Interceptor.1 -

You have to feel sorry for the Oil traders that now have to take delivery of 42,000 gallons of Crude!!!

It if you read these forums you’ll find countless examples of people who were perfectly happy to sign anything out in front of them when they wanted something, and who then decide that they were cheated, taken advantage of, or “mis-sold” when they end up unhappy later. If you are desperate to invest in gold, just buy some. If you are desperate to gamble on oil prices just use something like City Index to gamble.Barry_Bear said:
You could but I think mine is better.Albermarle said:Only one check box is needed for any stocks or ETFs: I understand that I could make money but in the worst case I could lose all the money I am investing.Or you could have a check box if you understand how the investments work and therefore understand all ( or most of) the risks.
Like with ETF's
Whether you understand, or you just think you understand, how the financial instrument works and the risks, it hardly matters if you don't accept the simple fact in plain English: you could lose all your money.0 -
How much would the fine be, per barrel, for taking delivery and dumping it on a beach, or in a river?Username999 said:

That would be 69 barrels dumped at £2600 per barrel. But doing it deliberately would probably attract jail time 🙄😁0 -
Oil is not going to be free, it is oil futures that are negative. Those futures at this moment in time will be trading, by the time of final delivery they won't be free, neither are they free today. Calm down dears.

If anybody gets wind of gold futures suddenly going negative, rent a truck and buy, buy, buy..._1 -
I wonder, whether it is possible to buy individual share of Oil and Gas company such Royal Dutch Shell, Checron, BP using S&S Isa allowance?
If so what platform to use ?
Thanks

The majority of mainstream platforms allow share dealing within a S&S ISA wrapper - it's just a few robo players who are restricted to their own proprietary fund options. However, the usual guidance applies - buying individual shares is a mug's game, especially for the inexperienced investor (such as one who'd have to ask questions like that), and diversifying via collective investments is far more likely to be a productive route....adindas said:I wonder, whether it is possible to buy individual share of Oil and Gas company such Royal Dutch Shell, Checron, BP using S&S Isa allowance?

If you are already have one platfotm to hold your S&S Isa from previous year. I am aware you could transfer your ISA to a new platorm but some poople might not want to do that. Is it possible to open another S&S account with the new platform or it has got to be general non ISA wrapper account, eskbanker said:
