Vehicle Tax Mismatch

Hi there,
Have never had this happen so would be grateful of any ideas...
I bought a 2018 car last year as I needed to comply with the Lonond ULEZ scheme.
My new car is a 121G/KM diesel.
I got my vehicle tax reminder in the post this week.
It says very clearly in bold under option 1:
6 months = £79.75
12 months = £145.00
I have gone onto the site as I usually do, filled in the reference number, selected the 12 month option as I usually do and it is showing £150.00.
I have tried three times now and the wrong amount keeps on showing.
This is incorrect and not what is on the letter I have had in the post this week.
Has anyone else had this? I have tried contacting DVLA and I am unable to get hold of anyone. I have found an online email account for them, so have emailed them but wondered if anyone else is having these issues?
Thanks in advance.

Your V11 was produced before the £145 VED band went up to £150, happens every year at this time. Is there not a warning stating amount may have changed in the budget ?

It's a charge for not paying by direct debit.
  • ^^^ as above.
And yes, there is a very clear warning that the amount may differ

It isn't.  Its the annual budget increase which is announced in March.

Worked in my favour one year. Budget announced the increase but managed to tax it online just before
    midnight at the older/lower rate.

Should have paid your VED when your reminder arrived and not waited until they raised the price.
