Create simple online quizzes for friends...?

During the Covid-19 lockdown, the relatives have been setting little quizzes for each other. At the moment, they've been sent via SMS text message, replies gathered, scores calculated, replies with the scores sent out by text again. Very tedious.
So I want a way that I can create a quiz online, so maybe 10 people can select their answers via a website (using PC, Android or iPhone), get their scores, and see how everyone else did. I don't want it to be done live... just something people can do when they have a spare moment. And a few Grannies are playing, so any registration/sign-up process needs to be really quick and simple.

I've signed up to a few "free online quiz makers" that I've found online, but none of them do what I want. Or they're bewilderingly complicated, either to create a quiz, or for others to just sign up and find the quiz I've set, or I find they cost money. I only need plain, free text fields and multiple-choice radio buttons. It should be pretty simple, right...?
I actually have some free web hosting, and I was wondering if it might be easier to use some web-design tools to create my own little quiz website. But the only web-building experience I have is old-school plain-text HTML and CSS. :-/
Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers :-)

Google Apps?
Here's a tutorial on how to do it: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/7032287?hl=en-GB
The disadvantage of doing it yourself with HTML etc. is that you'll need to arrange a backend database or other repository for responses, and that can get a bit involved.
Survey Monkey has a good reputation and a free plan, but I don't know what limitations the free plan has.

You need to sign up to create, but players can just follow a link.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.1 -
Another thread on this forum has a daily quiz we all register for easily without fuss or cost and we immediately see how we've scored compared with everybody else and how long it took. I've been doing it almost every day for years now.

Also put on Jimmy Carr's tiny lockdown quiz from his youtube channel. Five minutes to answer ten questions, comes out at 6PM and answers by 8PM, we're in the 3rd week I think. Can't compare how others have done. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker1

I get the impression that the OP wants to devise the questions.1

Ooh -- and looking at Google Forms, too, thanks (nearly forgot that one!).

One other one that might be worth a look-at is Microsoft Forms (http://forms.office.com). You can use it for free if you have a commercial Microsoft Office 365 subscription or a personal free Microsoft account (hotmail, live.com, outlook.com)0
