My partner doesn't work no and if that would have been the case surely they would have contacted my to atleast ask I would have thought. That part is standard if claiming as a couple which I don't ask my partner has no recourse to public funds so I only claim for myself. The letter is mumble jumble to give the reason as no paid enough contributions when for income related contributions don't matter as that is for contributory esakingfisherblue said:The letter states that you will not be receiving income related ESA any more. Lower down, it refers to your partner possibly having to attend a Work Focused Interview. Does your partner work?
Such a nightmare to find out as with covid 19 getting through isnt going to be an easy task0 -
I bet after 10 years there has been absolutely no improvement. Right?0

I think OP knows that. Their question is why, given that they are in the Support Group and have been getting it for over 10 years.kingfisherblue said:The letter states that you will not be receiving income related ESA any more. This won't happen for at least another couple of years maybe longer. Unless a change of circumstances prompts a move. You say you haven't been reassessed, you also say it seems like that letter took a while to get to you. Maybe they sent out a reassessment form and you didn't receive it, which could mean they've found you fit for work for failing to return.Sayj said:

I hope that not the case as I was reassessed in july got my award kept same dated sept 2019 with a review set for 18 months after well the forms I would expect no earlier than end of 2020 and if anything with the current suspension of reassessment that would kick it further downpoppy12345 said:

Reassessments can be anytime from 3 months so the time they tell you is just a guide. It's really just a guessing to everyone here and i'm sure you'll know what's going on once you ring them. Hopefully it's something simple.
