Do you want to ask for a partial refund of your driving licence cost as you are not using it so much?1

Since when has VED been based on mileage?
Life in the slow lane3 -
I was doing 5000 miles a year paying £150 on my previous car, someone could be doing 10,000 miles and be paying £20.
Short: never been based on mileage.
I paid for my passport to be renewed 5 years ago, only used once, other people paid the same, and may have used it 10 times already.0 -

I'll be in 'profit' anyway. Due to shielding I'll be doing 5000 miles less this year plus saving over £200 in Mersey Gateway tolls
I doubt if they'd even consider a 25% discount on £30 VED for a 3 month period of non-use0 -
Go on give it a go and let us know how you get on.Madmax10 said:With the cv19 causing problems has anyone tried to get a reduction on ved due to the reduced mileage most of us are doing. I know you can ask for a reduction in mileage from the insurance company.1 -
