Witness Statement due 4th May but I haven't received any docs from Gladstones/UKCPM

Hi all,
I've been using the forum to help me through this process, so thank you to everyone so far for your help, and all of the linked threads, and Newbies thread. I think I've so far done everything I needed to.
I submitted by DQ Form in time (email and registered post to both court and Claimant UKCPM). It's all showing up on the MCOL Portal. So far so good.
The case has been transferred to the County Court and the hearing date is scheduled for 18 May. It says I have until 4 May to submit a Witness Statement.
I just have a few questions I'd love some advice on:

1. I haven't received UKCPM's DQ form at all. Should I have? Should I email the Court and complain that I haven't?
2. The letter I got that says it's been assigned to the county court says that UKCPM has until 20 April to pay the court fee. If they don't, what happens? Will I ever know that? On April 21, can I write to the court and ask?
3. I'm planning on sending off the Witness Statement by email, due to Covid-19 crisis limiting my opportunities to go to the post office. Is email acceptable?
4. I'm a keyworker and nervous about actually attending court right now due to the crisis. I'm also needed at work pretty much 24/7. Am I allowed to email the Court and ask for the date to be moved back by a few months?
5. What are the Court likely to do with a 18 May date? We will still probably be in lockdown - will they cancel/rearrange themselves? Will they tell me, or do I need to contact them to ask?
6. If everything still goes ahead on May 18, I'm really feeling like I can't miss work, and nor should I. I have people to help. I would prefer to just pay the whole thing rather than take a day off work. Problem is - I don't actually know how to make a payment? Do I pay the Court? How do I stop the proceedings if I need to?

Thanks in advance for anyone's help!

    1) your court order tells both you and the claimant that same deadline date , so it's likely they will leave it as late as possible

    2) no fee , no hearing , it's that simple , yes you can and should check if not known

    3) not unless the court and the claimant allow email ? Plus courts usually have printing limits
So unless told different , drop yours into the Court and post to the claimant

    4) you can ask , but they may wish to do it on papers or a conference call , they may vacate or postpone it , or not

    5) see 4) above

    6) you would settle with the claimant , or let it be heard on papers by informing the court a week or two before and if you lose in Court pay the claimant in full within 30 days

Some courts are vacating hearings until August or later

I posted (last week?) an example of what to say, as an NHS keyworker who wants an adjournment for a few months and a personal face to face hearing, and an extension of time to submit a witness statement and evidence.

However the forum search is useless since the upgrade.  Can any regular remember the case I mean?

The DQ form deadline was ages ago, back in early January. So, they may well have filed it with the Court (I assume they have, otherwise it wouldn't have been assigned to a county court, right?), but I've never got a copy. Am I meant to get one? Can I complain I haven't received it?

I'd find this really useful, if anyone can find it.

    Found it!

Adapt this and say the start that no N180 was served to you and as such, the Claimant's case should be struck out.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Easily found...

    I found it by...

    1) clicking on the magnifying glass top right of the Parking Board index page...

    2) writing NHS keyworker in the resultant search box...

    3) click Search.

    4) It's third on the list of posts returned (probably fourth now that I've posted this).

    5) if a very long list of posts had been returned, I would've typed Coupon-mad in the Author box to narrow the list...

Thank you @Coupon-mad I appreciate it. I'll draft a letter to the Court stating that. Is it OK to email this to the court? I'm a little reluctant to go and queue at a post office these days, with all the non-social distancing, just to send it registered delivery.

I said your court order , I didn't say DQ

The court order that gave you those dates above is a court order from your local court , nothing to do with the DQ

So the claimant has the same date that you do , 4th may
