Sent 2 cards for the same account

My old Debitcard is about to expire and about a month ago I was sent a new card and today I was sent another new one. The new new one is not contactless. just wondering if this is standard for Natwest to send both contactless and normal cards or if I'm suddenly not eligible? In the current climate I'd rather use contactless. Sorry if this is not in the correct section on the forum. Thanks for your help

You'll need to ask them, if the accompanying literature doesn't make it clear.

Not NatWest no, and even if they were, Debit Mastercard is usually contactless too
  • Only difference (apart from numbers) is the contactless logo. I've tried the "old" new card and it still works, I can panic buy loo roll! Thanks for the help just wanted to check if NatWest give you both but its probably just a error as I can't think what I've done to have the contactless removed. I'll give them a call in the week.

The default NatWest card is contactless which you would normally receive - however you can request a non-contactless card in which case they would send you one. The old one would continue working until you first use the new non-contactless one

sounds as though they think for some reason you have requested this - probably an error
