Public sector employers are not supposed to furlough.0

I very much doubt that is an option to cover the loss of that income.
Surprised they are standing down reservists. Would have thought surely they would be training them up for pandemic contingency field service. Hmm... The more you know.0 -
Most Reserves are, effectively, on a zero-hour contract so they have no need to furlough you0

No. At this time of National Emergency, reservists risk being called upon more than ever.gscoble said:We have a regular monthly income from my husband who is a reservists . All this has been cancelled due to the Corona . Does anyone know if you can be furloughed?
3000 reservists already have been called up.
How does your husband receive regular income as an arny reservist? And who has cut that income, because the government has not cut the funding???

Training, for most units, has been suspended for the duration of the crisis so reservists aren't getting the pay they would get for drill nights/weekendssliphi said:

I believe the minimum commitment is between 19 and 27 days per year. (and that includes a 2 week continuous period)
Reservists will continue to receive their annual bounty payment.

If he's not on standby for the Covid Support Force, see if your husband's unit will pay for time spent on completing relevant courses - have a look on DLE. Is there any maintenance or admin work that can be done within distancing guidelines?0
