Bees/wasp? Coming and going from airbrick

this would be the air brick in question

I had them in my loft !
They entered via gaps around a downstairs window and up through cavity/ies and into loft; the initial gap was in some silicon around a double glazed window, they took out the insulating beads, and up they went.
I called in a pest company and those were his findings; he sprayed and the problem ceased.
I had seen them in a nearby flowering hedge but had never made the connection between it all, I had also heard a kind of 'scratching' noise when i'd been sitting outside, that was apparently them wearing away the silicon in that section of the window sealing; you live and learn !
Moved house a couple of years later and Buff Tailed Bumble Bees were living in the inherited compost bin...…. I love wildlife but don't want them living with me

We all love wildlife until it annoys us!

Looks like bees, possibly tree bees as they like to live up fairly high, often in trees hence the name. You can by their distinctive ginger thorax. Perfectly harmless and like all bees very beneficial. Leave them to it, they'll only be around for a couple of months.0
