Travel cancelled due to coronvirus

Expedia and Jet2 have cancelled due to Government restrictions on travel, but the Hotel in Poland wont refund because they have a no cancellation policy, i havent but the travel
Companies have had to due to the Virus, Jet2 will give money back but not hotel, can i claim from my Credit card?

    Is the hotel in Poland still open? If yes then it’s not the hotels fault you can’t get there. 
    You’ll need to claim via your insurance if you have any.

    I am sure that they do have a cancellation policy - but I guess it is not the one you now want to hear and giving you the refund you want.

    Did you book it directly online with the hotel and click anything to say you had read and agreed to the terms and conditions?  Have you looked at their website to find them?

    I am in a similar position , my Spanish hotel is closed but will not refund as I am outside the cancellation period as my holiday is in less than 2 weeks away. My bank have started a chargeback for the money, and if that fails I will expect my insurance company to assist.

    Expedia have been in contact with the Hotel in Poland and i will be receiving a full refund as both governments are not letting anyone travel so they have waived there T@C,s Thanks guys
