Address issue for first time mortgage

Hi,
Me & my partner are looking to buy our first house in the next 6 months but we have a problem with our current address not showing on our credit report. The address isn't classed as a residential one but we have been registered here on the electoral roll although our credit reports haven't picked up on this. We have updated all our lenders etc with this address. When it comes to applying for a mortgage I am worried they won't be able to find us, do we have any other option other than to move addresses?
Thanks

Are you actually considering moving address just for your credit report? Not neccessary. The mortgage companies will just ask for proof of address etc.1

Well I was considering it, I thought that if the lenders didn't have our correct address on their reports they would just decline the application straight away? I have seen that you're electoral roll address must match the current address on you're report(which is what I'm trying to sort but it's taking a while).
Thanks0 -
Do you have confirmation from your council that you're on the ER? If so, raise it with all the CRAs and submit the proof you have from the council.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Yes I do, I have raised a query with the cra's and I'm waiting to hear back from 2 of them, equifax said that the address isn't on the royal mail database even though I've added it. It may take a while to become visible to them maybe0

I doubt that the problem is anything to do with a 'Non-residential' address.
In what sense isn't the address classed as a residential one? I doubt that the CRAs check people's addresses against a list of residential addresses (if such a list exists anywhere). And even if they did, I can't see how it would it help their clients (banks etc), by not recording your address?
How long ago did you register on the electoral role, and change your address with lenders? Maybe the details just haven't reached the CRAs yet.
I guess you can check to see if your address is on the PAF (Postcode address file) https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode
If it's not, that causes some businesses problems - but I'd have thought the CRAs would be able to work around that.1 -
We were put on the electoral register on the 3rd March 2020 according to the council, so maybe there is a chance this hasn't filtered through yet. No the address isn't on the postcode finder, but as I said above Royal mail said they would add it but I don't know how long it would take companies to see this.0

Yeah I have evidence but I've read that the addresses need to match completely otherwise a full credit check may not be completed. I suppose I need to give more time to let the agencies catch on to the electoral roll address then go from there0

Contact your local council electoral office at https://www.gov.uk/contact-electoral-registration-office and ask for a proof of electoral roll letter and send this to all of the credit reference agencies.

I have sent them a letter from the council proving that I will be added from the 3rd march so hopefully that will be enough0
