Any bank branches currently open on a Saturday?

I'm still working full time and unlikely to be furloughed or have my hours reduced.
The problem is ( I know it's not a major problem really) I have some cash I'd like to pay into a bank, I don't actually care which one as once in there I can move it to where it needs to be. I cannot get to a branch during the week and I cannot see any bank anywhere with branches open on a Saturday at the moment.
Is there anywhere I'm missing or suggestions as to another way, or is it a case of just having to sit on it and sort it out when things allow?

External ATM or Post Office?
Is it that urgent though?0 -
I hadn't thought about the post office, that's a good suggestion.
Not really urgent, as I said in the grand scheme of things it's a mere blip, upon reflection I may just sit on it rather than make a non essential journey0 -
Online at least, my local Metro Bank is showing as being open every day, including Sundays.

Well which bank/s do you hold an account with ?
Have you checked the respective website for the bank or just asked them via a social media platform ?0 -
In my area it's just the Post Office on Saturdays; I think the rest are still on very limited hours, frustrating but it's the way life will be for a while.0

I checked each one for local branch opening hours. TSB, Santander, HSBC and Cumberland closed completely, Natwest and RBS are 10am until 1pm, Lloyds 10am - 2pm, Barclays 10am until 2pm Mon, Wed, Fri.DCFC79 said:Well which bank/s do you hold an account with ?

Not a Metro customer but don't have one close in any event and they are all currently Mon-Fri only.
I could use the Post Office, I have one very close. Then I ask is it an essential journey? not really so I'll just sit on it for a while.
I think in the grand scheme of things my "problem" of having some cash lying around is not really much of a problem at all.

I'm intrigued as to how much cash is involved here...
If it was thousands or even hundreds I would want to get it deposited.0 -
It's £1200 (ish) Not a king's ransom but more than I'd normally keep at home.1

You live alone or with family? You can always ask them to pay in to their account and then do a fast payment to you?
Otherwise some banks let you pay in at their outside ATMs or use a post office.0 -
Of course it is, at least to this person. Cash won't cover direct debits, standing orders etc will it.veryintrigued said:External ATM or Post Office?
