Remove hard search after successful right to reject for faulty car?

I purchased a car through MotoNova finance, and as part of this purchase a couple of hard searches were run through the broker/garage. It turned out that the car was faulty and after a bit of back and forth, the garage agreed to take the car back, and MotoNova then subsequently cancelled the finance.
Whilst all this took place, I had to go and source another car on finance (not favourable interest rate given I'd just got finance on another car). So I'm now left with multiple hard searches on my report, when two of them now relate to a purchase that was returned.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get hard searches for the faulty car removed from my Credit Report?

No. The searches will remain.0

No - very unlikely - it's an accurate record of what happened. Although you did choose not to progress with the finance - the record will show that you did apply for it, and that's what it is, a record. Not sure why you had a 'couple of hard searches' for one purchase though - usually the hard search should be once per application? and one hard search is not going to make a jot of difference after a couple of months.0

If there were two hard searches in respect of a single application then depending on the circumstances you may be able to get one of them removed. Some time ago - probably over ten years now, I bought a car from a local dealer who was also supposed to be arranging the credit. In fact, I signed a credit agreement in the branch. I then ended up with about ten separate hard searches on my file from different finance companies all of which I eventually got removed (bar the one who provided the finance in the end). Some were easy to get rid of and others such as Bank of Scotland - very difficult.0
