Leaving IFA

Hi. I'm with an IFA but I'd like to have a go at managing my ISA and pension myself (which are both on the Fidelity platform). I struggle to see the value he's providing when my situation hasn't changed for years and I'm at least 20 years away from retirement. How do I go about leaving him? What happens to my Fidelity account? And will my annual charges remain the same (minus his fees)? Thanks!

I imagine you will have a contract with your IFA? Dig it out.0

I can't place my hands on it at the moment. Anyone know how it typically works? Thanks.0

tell Fidelity that you are no longer using the adviser and you wish to remove them from your agency
tell the adviser that you wish to end their ongoing service.
What happens to my Fidelity account?nothing.
And will my annual charges remain the same (minus his fees)?Only his fees, if any, will be end. Everything else is the same.
