Holiday Extras Parking Cancellation and Charges

like many people in these difficult times we have found our holiday in mid May cancelled and have no issues with that as we understand the holiday company will deal with that in due course (all being well). We however awoke this morning to find an email from Holiday Extras informing us that they had cancelled our parking and refunded us for that parking, minus £10.
At no point had we contacted them to ask them to cancel it, although eventually we would likely have done so, my concern is the £10.50 charge (roughly 17% of the cost of the parking) that they have applied to their cancellation.
Now in their terms I can find the following information:
My question is simple where do I stand getting this money back? £10 might not seem a lot normally but now more then ever its needed and why are they charging these fees in these circumstances?
TIA
At no point had we contacted them to ask them to cancel it, although eventually we would likely have done so, my concern is the £10.50 charge (roughly 17% of the cost of the parking) that they have applied to their cancellation.
Now in their terms I can find the following information:
- If you cancel in time, you will be refunded what you’ve paid, less our cancellation fee, which is normally £10.50 for a lounge or a parking booking (exceptions apply for London Luton Airport, see below) or £15.00 for a hotel booking, including ones that offer parking, unless you added a cancellation waiver. The cost is higher for certain packages, but we will inform you of this before you book. With the waiver added to your package, we’ll refund you the full cost of your package less the waiver, but it must be added to the package at the time you booked.
My question is simple where do I stand getting this money back? £10 might not seem a lot normally but now more then ever its needed and why are they charging these fees in these circumstances?
TIA

Would you have preferred them not to cancel and then you be hit with the full parking charge? There are virtually no flights out of the UK until June so they have been proactive in cancelling now. The charge for cancellation is clearly stated in the T&C. What the % of parking cost comes to is irrelevant as £10.50 is not an excessive charge.

I'm splitting hairs here but I did not cancel the booking they did, so why are they charging it? All their terms apply to if I cancel the booking, there is no provision for "acts of god" etc so makes no sense to charge it.
I also dont get why they charged when its using the normal airport car park who are refunding in full, why aren't they?
Final concern is that they have been offering vouchers to customers online for use later in the year we weren't even given the choice they have cancelled without even checking with us - for all they know i may have been one of those unfortunates that are still having to travel, they don't know it was parking for a holiday.
To you £10 might not be excessive but its a fair amount to some people, especially when there is no reason for it to be charged in their own terms and other options were available to them.1 -
return the refund and ask them to reinstate the parking booking as you did not cancel2

If they cancelled the terms of the contract to charge a fee have not been met.1

this - full refund ...Sometimes we may have to make changes to your booking after you have made it. Should this happen, we’ll notify you as soon as we’re able. If the new arrangements are not suitable, we’ll offer you a full refund. You can find a current copy of your booking here. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or on any bookings at an incorrect price.
