Bathroom wall tile weight

Am planning to re-tile the bathroom but have been told to check the tile weight is suitable for the wall?   Are there wall tiles that are too heavy for bathroom walls???

It all depends on what your walls are. Bare plasterboard, skimmed walls etc.

Thanks John.h, will take a look. Old tiles not even off yet so unsure of wall type, but im guessing its solid block walls (probably plastered, before being tiled about 20 years ago)

If you haven’t seen already you might want to look at wall panels, cheaper than tiles and quicker to install

I'm toying with the idea of using Tadelakt for my (small) bathroom when I get round to renovating it.
