Hi All,
I had a previous ccj for 6 years and was told point blank that whether it is satisfied or not it still looks bad.
Unfortunately i now have another one , should i bother to pay it as the previous ccj caused me quite a few issues without me paying it off?
Ccj is after 30 days and please nk judgement!

It depends on your future plans. If you aren't going to apply for a credit card or a mortgage in the next six years then it won't be such a big issue to leave it unsatisfied - it can cause a problem when applying for certain jobs - and it can also cause a problem when trying to rent a new house or flat - so it all really depends on your lifestyle over the next few years. A satisfied judgment will always be seen more positively than an unsatisfied judgement. It's bad - but less bad.2

Hi there,
Asking for advice. I have a bizarre ex tenant who has filed a claim through the small claims court for the return of unused days on her tenancy. She terminated the tenancy as she had originally taken on the property to use as Airbnb and the coronavirus sort of scuppered that. On termination I returned her deposit via the Tenant Deposit Scheme but she now feels that she should be repaid for unused days. I was obviously too flexible with her. I don't want to end up with a CCJ but I also don't want to be held to ransom. On the form she states she resided in the property, which she didn't and that she is owed the money. It is still only 2 weeks since she left and she is not returning any emails. How can I notify the court to take this into account.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Hope all are well and keeping safe.
I have had a CCJ on my file since 2017. I do not know what this was for. I was with a debt management company who consolidated my debts and am now finally debt free since last November. I was so happy and then there was this CCJ. The debt management company tried several times to get information or paperwork on this CCJ but apparently there is no record! I contacted the business too but am still waiting for a reply.
I have wanted to buy a house for ages, which I can't due to the CCJ and with this virus our wedding got cancelled. It's been really tough.
Any help on how to go forward would be much appreciated. Also, I did dispute the CCJ but without paperwork I can not go forward. Also, as this is a horrible situation, would I be entitled to compensation for the incorrect information added onto my credit file?
Thanks!

Chase up the company for details of the CCJ.
I wouldn't worry about compensation. Against a backdrop of a DMP, it'll have had little incremental effect, unless you can prove an additional loss. I think the wedding is also a side issue.1 -
Hello,
I have chased them twice but have not heard anything back.
I will chase them again. Thanks for your help.
