Q re principal card holder & additional/halifax

Options
Hi there

I have a Halifax 0% for 12 months card which will soon expire. I am the principal card holder with OH as additional. I'm wondering if I can apply to Halifax again with OH as the principal and me as the additional?

Any experiences of success?

Many thanks

Yes. Your husband would be treated as a new customer.

You cannot transfer your current balance to another Halifax card of course. I'm sure you knew that.

Thank you. I thought that was probably the case but didn't want a decline on my record if I tried!

    I'll give it a go.

I didn't apply earlier but just discovered it's now 15 months and application was successful!

    Congratulations, Petal!

The Hally has two promotions on the go aimed at drawing in new customers:

The Halifax 12 Month card offers 0% on bts and purchases for 12 months.
The Halifax Purchases card gives you interest -free purchases for a market-leading 15 months, but 0% on bts for just 6 months, so this one's strictly for retail transactions ;)

I just need it for purchases. Will have the other one paid off by the time it ends and always like to have a 0% card on the go:j
