Credit score detail

Options
I receive a monthly report from Clear Score. Today, I noticed that my score had dropped by 22 points . However there was still a comment that "nothing has changed". On examination I noted that all was in order except, my 2 current accounts are stated as having £0. This is definitely not the case and indeed in both banks (Nationwide an Santander), I have also a little pot of savings. After an initial panic, I looked at my bank accounts and all in order.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could it just be that the banks are working on skeleton staff so have not reported any information this month? I'm not sure how it works.

Current accounts should always shown as £0 unless you're in your OD.

If nothing has changed on your files, never worry about the pretend score.

Savings balances do not count either, because they are not reported back to CRAs.

Interesting aa my rbs account hasn't been seen to move from 0 though OD use is limited to a few days, thankfully.

The banks generally only report once a month. Therefore, I believe that it would be pot luck whether they choose a day when you are overdrawn.
  • It's a bit like the BBC quiz Pointless where 0 is the value sought. The fall in the credit score is nothing to worry about as only you can see it - as long as the data behind it is as it should be.
