Hi All

I Have A Goodmans 216 Ns Television It Is Fine On Normal But When Switch On Freeview This Overides To Picture. So Far So Good But I Do Not Know How To Video A Freeview Channel But View Normal Tv.

Has Any One Got A Guide Or Know Where I Have Tried To Google Goodmans But To No Avail.

  • For starters you need a video recorder attached by SCART to the freeview box - then you can connect the video to the TV via SCART or the RF coxial in the "old fashioned" way.

    Then set your video to AV (or 0 or whatever) - you should be able to watch the Video channel on your TV and see the Freeview picture (or watch a video)

    Leave the Freeview box on the channel you want to record and set the video up to record the programme on the video recorder channel that you are looking at.

    Alternativelyyou can get sub £100 Freeview DVR (Digital Video Recorder) which allow you to record in the same way that Sky+ works - some have dual tuners that allow you to watch one Freeview channel & record another OR record two at once. The DVR thta I have allows you to set a weekly or daily record so you can catch all the episodes of a certain prog.
