Well Done Premier Inn

Great customer service from Premier Inn. We booked a non refundable stay for the night before our holiday in May. Premier Inn sent an email proactively and offered a refund or the option to move the booking.

 I have just processed the cancellation online, very simple to do and email received to advise payment will be refunded. We have always used Premier Inn but it is this kind of behaviour which engenders loyalty.

Thank you Premier Inn, much appreciated!

    That's good to hear.
    We have booked a non-refundable room the night before our flight to Venice in September. We have also booked a non-refundable hotel room in Venice the night before our cruise to Barcelona, and a non- refundable room in Barcelona at the end of our cruise.
    We have now been told the cruise is cancelled, so we are looking at quite a few losses as a result, even though the cruise company (Carnival) are offering generous on-board credit for our  re-booked cruise as compensation.
    We do have the insurance, but I'm not sure these consequential losses will be covered due to the pandemic.
    The Premier Inn room was by far the cheapest of everything we booked!

    They paid out extremely quickly as well. Great customer service, proactive AND prompt for bookings they didn't have to.

    To be fair, we had 2 Travelodge saver rate bookings as well, they allowed amendments but the on-line option wasn't working so I opted for vouchers instead. They arrived by email almost immediately & I used them to make 2 new bookings. Not as good as the Premier Inn offer, but then, neither are their hotels!
    Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
