First time here so please forgive if I make mistakes. I have been the victim of multiple ID and fraud attempts since Dec'19. I checked every credit ref agency I could find. Registered and paid to join Experian. Only Experian has done this, They are showing two of the wanna-be thieves addresses as linked to me. These addresses are linked in a way by all the others, through Cifa warnings attached to failed theft attempts. For a month I have been trying to get these addresses removed. So far all I have is a growing collection of holding pattern messages. Silence from Experian's data protection officer. My question is how much damage if any can the residents of these two addresses do me? You have no idea how the idea of sharing these addresses is getting more tempting by the day. Won't but I can dream.

Raise a complaint with the CRA's concerned1

Experian is the only one. I have raised a complaint and they gave themselves 3 days to deal with it. That was a month ago. Every time I send a reminder message I get the same 3 days message back. I will get this sorted out eventually but it's the possible damage these wanna-be thieves can do till then that worries me most.0

MSE frequently recommends us to change accounts to obtain better interest rates, or change utilities, but doing so creates an adverse comment on Experian and similar agencies because we are not maintaining a "relationship" for very long. I still have a good score but I an frequently advised that I need to maintain a longer relationship, despite having the same main bank account for a long while.0

Nothing to worry about. Experian's opinion on you switching utility suppliers is irrelevant.
Lenders aren't concerned about it, do neither should you be. The same goes for your score.
Even switching bank accounts from time to time isn't particularly negative. More worrying is if lenders think your accounts are being closed by lenders.0 -
Just a comment about disputes with Experian right now... They're Indian operation is severely affected by Covid and they are hiring this weekend in the UK to work through the backlog of disputes.
Don't expect quick resolution0
