Small business getting no help

Hello, I am a beauty therapist who rents the second floor of the hairdressers. I have been told that I cannot apply for the small business rate grant of ten thousand pounds because I do not have a rate account number. The hairdressers downstairs have applied and got the grant as she does have the number and owns the building. I still have bills and insurance going out and I have bills at home to pay. I am
not entitled to UC. I was about to expand my business just before this happened and feel if I don’t get any help I will not be able to go ahead. Is there anything else out there for business’ that rent but do not have a rate account number?
