help save my sofa

After a visit from my sisters-in-law who both jumped down onto my couch:mad:  i am left with an extremely saggy sofa as two of the springs have snapped. I have tried tying the springs back with various things (tie wraps etc) but they just keep coming loose. I really don't want to buy a new sofa as it is really lovely and comfy (and cost me a hell of a lot of money) can anyone advise me on how i can save my sofa?

Hmmm have tried to do a photo but am as good at doing that as i am at fixing sofa's!!!! I will try to describe them. They are flat S shaped ones that go across the width of the sofa and are held at either end with yellow plastic (could be metal not sure) bits. They have snapped near the top were they are fixed onto the wood. That all sounds like gibberish i know but i hope it gives some idea!what sort of springs are they?

You can buy replacement springs from upholstery shops and often market stalls (the type that sell hoover bags) will have them.
I replaced several in our old suite, you need a strong pair of pliers, a hack saw and a hammer but it's not too difficult a job - my OH is a complete DIYaphobe but we managed between us!0
