Hi All, this is my first post
Last year I took out a breakdown insurance with a on-line company call "Nova-Direct", they were the cheapest with the best cover, no problems until this year when renewal was due. I received my renewal quote for £39.98, yet when I went on line as a new customer if was £24.25 plus there is also cashback, so I renewed with this quote. Two weeks later I received an email thanking me for auto renewing my policy for another year and was auto debited £39.98. I contacted the company to complain and re-imburse me the monies they had auto deducted! It turns out that in their "policy wording" you have to opt out of auto re-newal paying a fee of £4.99, and as I did not, I have to pay £4.99 admin fee and £4.99 insurance company fee, and furthermore to opt-out of next year's auto re-newal have to pay another £4.99!!
So this post is to advise everyone to stay clear of "Nova-Direct" as they may be cheap in the first instance but with their policy fees they are not!!
