Holiday help?!

Hi, after some advice 👋. Weve a package holiday booked (september 2020) and having just checked our package we didnt take insurance at the time of booking 🤬. I've recently checked and most insurers now arent giving any help if anything happens due to covid19, my question is; is it worth trying anywhere for insurance now or do we just let fate decide if we go? I know it's a while off and a lot could change by then but I didnt know if theres any measures I could try to put in place now? Many thanks.

You won't get insurance cover for a known event.

Your package should be ATOL protected so just leave it until the time , they should then cancel and refund or your holiday is ok

You should buy travel insurance anyway.  It won't cover you for anything Covid-19 related.  But any of you fall ill from anything else, or you can't travel for another reason you would still be covered.  Would also cover you for any non Covid-19 illness or incidents whilst you are abroad.

Browntoa is correct, if it's a proper package holiday then you will be due a refund/credit note/date change in the event that they have to cancel if this is all still going on in September.
