MCOL - How Long?

Hi all! Thank you for your help in advance.
I hope I have posted in the correct forum.
I was issued a claim via MCOL on the 24/01/2020 by a company that claims that I owe them money.I responded on the 27/01/2020 (The day the paperwork arrived) with my defence and the site states my defence was received the same day.
I have not had any correspondence since and the claim is still sitting on MCOL with the last action being my defence
Its been 2 months and I totally understand with the current climate life is not "normal" but just wondering if it is usual for cases not to hve any action for this period of time?
Thanks.

The next step is for the courts to issue a directions questionnaire.
This would normally be done quicker than 2 months, but may be delayed due to the Covid-19 situation. I suspect you will have to wait until the lockdown is over and the courts have been able to clear their backlog.0 -
