Parking Refund or Voucher

Just received confirmation from Jet2Holidays that my package holiday for 1st June is cancelled and they aren’t commencing any flights till 17th June, they will be calling me in regards to this so hopefully get a cash refund.
But was wondering how others have managed to get parking money back (booked separately with NCP), appears NCP are only giving vouchers for saver tickets which is valid for 12 months, personally would rather get a refund as I don’t know when I’m booking my next holiday and which airport I will use. Not sure if i can do a chargeback but guessing since its not a flexible ticket chances are I would need to stick with a voucher and can’t do a chargeback.

Exactly as you summarised. You selected and chose to book the cheaper, inflexible Saver rate. A chargeback is not valid. Take the voucher. It’s more than they need to offer.1

Thats what I thought, thanks for responding.0

Surely if they aren't providing a parking service then they can't charge you for it. THEY have cancelled the service, not you.
My booking is with Looking4.com and they aren't even offering a voucher.

This is the risk you take when booking the cheaper, non-refundable rates or using dubiously-named intermediaries like Looking4.com. It's much better to pay a little more and book proper airport parking at the flexible rate.0 -
Correct, I booked direct with the airport. Often the case my holidays aren't cancelled so tend to go for the non flex parking but on this situation its been cancelled.
The airport partnered with NCP are still open, so guess I am happy with the voucher that is being offered. Going through travel insurance is a waste considering there is an excess.1
