Dishwasher doesn't clean dishes properly

We have a converted property and the original developers installed our kitchen and units (fridge, freezer, oven & dishwasher). Our dishwasher is a cheap Currys Essentials one and used to work reasonably well until the last couple of months, when we put it on it doesn't clean our dishes properly, there's always small particles of food scattered about, mainly in the mugs / glasses. We've cleaned the filter multiple times and tested it and had no luck. We use rinse aid / capsules etc... as per usual but we can't seem to conquer this.

Any one else had these issues before?

Have you looked at the spray arms?  the holes can get blocked up by grains of rice or other debris reducing the power of the jets.

Yep, we took them off and cleaned them and still have the same issue.

Have you tried using gel instead of tablets? I found that helped us, also using one of those cleaners for dishwashers, was about £3 but made a bit of a difference (think soda Crystal's and vinegar would have done a better job)

Inspect the micro filter very carefully. Unless the mesh is perfectly adhering to the frame, dirty water can bypass the mesh, leading to what you describe. If it's broken, buy a new filter.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Have you:
Checked the drain pipe is clear and not partly blocked?
Dismantled/cleaned all the pipes and rotating arms?
Run it empty on the hottest possible wash with a wash powder/tablet and a cup of vinegar in the top basket? (Or used one of the proprietary cleaner bottles in a similar way).

I stripped down one of my Bosch dishwashers with similar symptoms to clear out most of the collected gunge in the washers internal circulation pipework.  Google your exact model to see if someone has a guide on how to clear blocked internal pipework.

Is it affecting both top and bottom baskets?
If it's the top basket, check that when you push the basket back that it is going fully back, and that the top spray arm connector is properly seating itself and sealing with the socket in the pipe at the back of the machine.

Came to say the same thing.  This is the best solution.
