I'm a truckdriver working to supply warehouses with vital materials during these unprecedented times,
However it's with much sadness I find that myself and other truckdrivers that I meet on a daily basis (social distance rules applied) being treated shamefully by various outlets, one chap told me this morning a petrol station refused to serve him a drink as they didn't see him as a key worker, the irony being he delivers beverages to supermarkets, this is the only forum I could think of where someone might point me in the right direction to bring this to the nations attention, all those products people have been fighting over ie toilet rolls, baked beans etc don't magically appear, someone like me leaves the safety of their family home to provide businesses with the goods to ensure society can continue to be supplied with everything everyone needs.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Stay safe, Stay home.
Steve.

Can't point you anywhere to highlight this matter but I feel your pain and annoyance.
It's so ironic isn't it? Do people think the pixies magically cause all this stuff to appear in the shops and factories? Or maybe we now have Star Trek transporters that move the stuff.
I speak as one who is married to a retired wagon driver.
You have my wholehearted thanks and keep on trucking."All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well."1 -
There are always going to be good and not so good people in all walks of life and unfortunately current climate makes no difference to some people, especially their attitudes!!
I too wish to thank you for all that you are doing, many including me really appreciate it, stay safe.
