I signed up Weight Watcher's 'Workshop + Digital' in January for 6 months. They have since cancelled all their workshops however they are refusing to refund their last payment or cancel my membership. What can I do? They are not giving me the service I signed up for and want my money back and to cancel!

What terms did you agree to when you signed up?  What did they promise to provide as a minimum and what do the terms say about cancellation of workshops?

If they're continuing to deliver the workshops and the service digitally I suspect you have no grounds for a refund.  It's little different to universities delivering their curriculum online in this crisis.

At best, if they can't meet half of what they offered (workshops being half of workshop + digital) for half of the time, you'd only have a claim for a quarter of what you paid.

Not with WW but with Slimming  World, who are in the same boat.

If by workshop you mean class then I'm guessing that WW have, or will, put something in place like SW, whereby classes are done over zoom.

I've had the option of doing this or freezing my membership; having chosen the later I've been told my access to the app & online features will stop at the end of April until normality  resumes but I'm happy with that.
