Long term investment etf

Hi all,
I was initially looking at investing in an ftse100 tracker, but after researching more it seems to be a notion to be diverse as much as possible and cheap and thus probably perform just as well as the general fund managers.
does anyone think it’s a good long term investment? Looking thru the list on just etf
There are 13 to choose from amundi, hsbc, ishares, spdr msci world etfs

Which one would be most suitable? Anyone else have one in their portfolio?

Over the past 10 years or more the FTSE100 Has been the worst performing major world index. This is due to It being dominated by a small number of very large companies in a limited number of industrial sectors.  Technology in particularly is very poorly represented. I suggest you would be better off looking at global funds.
