Refund instead of credit voucher on theatre tickets?

I purchased tickets to see a show with ATG Tickets. All performances have been postponed due to the pandemic. We're being offered credit vouchers for ATG, however I don't want a credit voucher, I would like a refund, however they do not speak of this anywhere in the messages we have received from them.

Am I able to get a refund?

Usually yes if you cannot attend the replacement date but it probably will not get processed until after the date of the show has happened. A refund will also be less booking fees/postage etc, too.
It depends a lot on what the promoter does and that differs from promoter so there is no one-size-fits-all rule. The ticket re-seller (ATG) have their hands tied and will just relay what the promoter decides to do.

Considering all of that advice your best bet is likely to be to accept the ticket for the new date and sell it on to someone that can go, if that is an option. Or just take the credit voucher.
A refund (which will be less than the exact fee you paid) will require you to get in a long line to wait for.

Final option is if you paid for it on a credit card or certain debit cards, then you might be able to claim a refund via them.

I am in exactly the same position with ATG and I think it's shocking. The show I want to see is cancelled and I see no good reason why I shouldn't get my money back in full. That's what happens any other time someone takes your money and can't do what they're contracted to do.
