Appliances Direct, are one of the few companies that have stock of small freezers at the moment. They are charging ridiculous prices for the ones they have, here is an example there are many more.
I will remember them after this crisis has passed.

I'm going to remember this as well, cool story bro1

You might think its a ridiculous price but is it higher than they normally charge?0

It is possible that they are going to be putting it in a sale very soon and have to offer it at the higher price for a certain length of time before they can claim it is discounted. Still a dodgy business practise but a legal one that pretty much every retailer does. You'll probably find it being sold at 50% off soon at £250, so still cheaper than AO but not really 50% off rrp.0

Nothing wrong with this, they charge what they like, if consumers are daft to pay that price then more fool them.1
-
Or the fact they will deliver it where the cheaper option says "Not available for delivery"?

AO price match, thankfully not in an upwards direction to 'match' Appliances Direct! AD's prices on other things are more expensive than AO, though not quite so much more, you're over a barrel at present I'm afraid zandoni, freezers in demand & AD know it.Fosterdog said:You'll probably find it being sold at 50% off soon at £250, so still cheaper than AO but not really 50% off rrp.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0

Note however that the model numbers are not identical.SevenOfNine said:

That suggests it's out of stock since AO have no collection facility.forgotmyname said:Or the fact they will deliver it where the cheaper option says "Not available for delivery"?0
