I booked my parking with Looking4Parking and whilst I appreciate I opted for a non-flexi booking (if I had changed my mind & needed to cancel, I was accepting of these terms). Now, however, due to the strict Government restrictions I cannot fulfil my booking (i.e flights have been cancelled) and require a refund as the carpark is currently unmanned and not operating as usual. Where do I stand, as if the Government hadn't have banned all travel I would have been utilising the car park. It appears that Looking4Parking is in a 'win win' situation over the Corona-Crisis and isn't even offering to transfer the booking to a later date. They are not courteous enough to respond to email enquiries other than the automated standard email response, they are also conveniently 'uncontactable by telephone'. Whilst I appreciate it isn't Looking4Parking's fault, it's not my fault either. I cannot be the only person in this situation. I will never use Looking4Parking again, their response on their website to Covid-19 non-flex bookings is unsympathetic and immoral. Can anybody advise a way forward?

If the car park is closed, you are entitled to a refund. You'll just have to wait until their office is open to get it.0

Yes I got the standard reply to my non flex booking also, saying no refund or no allowance to transfer to another date. They just said I may be able to claim on insurance.. Terrible company. It is really bizarre, Companies House shows that the business is owned by Manchester Airport itself, why they are creating customers this way I do not understand, other than they lost half a million in the last accounts and maybe trying to show a profit this year.0

Probably because they know people will scrape the internet barrel to save a few quid on parking. They may as well try and grab some of that market share. Any company that sticks a 4 in place of 'for' doesn't get my custom...Alan_Bowen said:It is really bizarre, Companies House shows that the business is owned by Manchester Airport itself, why they are creating customers this way I do not understand, other than they lost half a million in the last accounts and maybe trying to show a profit this year.
