Telephone and Broadband switching problems

In my business premises, I used bOnline to supply my landline and associated broadband. I signed in March 2018, and was quite happy as a new business. In July 2019, I agreed to have a "better" service from them, and agreed a 3 year deal. Their service was not much better, and in November I agreed a transfer through kinex. I was aware that an early termination fee would be payable and I was assured that this would be met by kinex. In outcome, this was paid by kinex, and I have no problem with them. My main problem is with bOnline. The transfer was declined about 4 times. They also passed a fee saying that I never told them I had cancelled my DD. Not true. Then, they charged VAT on the early termination fee!! I did not feel that this should be charged, but have got nowhere after sending many emails. Anyone else had problems?
