Just had nationwide decline my claim, ( Expedia for flights, hotel and attraction)  on basis that all have offered a credit.( which I am willing to reject).
Trouble is none of them actually stopped their services ( flights happened 17th March, hotel open , event happen) just that FCO Advised against travel and Trump would  have refused  me entry.   ( so also no sect 75 claim)

I have little chance of being able to use the credit in the near-medium time frame, and even if I did have opportunity it is unlikely would  purchase the same quality of holiday and would not go .

Nationwide BS (uki) says not covered as “costs recoverable against elsewhere...”  but they are not recoverable under my (reasonable?) definition.

    FOS here I come.
