Plumbing for washing machine

Hi,
The previous owners of our home had a dishwasher in the kitchen and the washing machine in the utility room. We would like to use the utility room for a bigger fridge (not enough room in the kitchen with the current layout) and place the washing machine in the kitchen. The question then is, will the plumbing for the dishwasher be fine for the washing machine too, or will it need some upgrading? Picture below of the plumbing underneath the kitchen sink (the washing machine would go to the left of that)

Well the cold water feed is the same and the waste connection pipe looks the same so should be ok but it might need changing1

Looks more than adequate. Although, personally, I'd prefer to see the washing machine plumbed in downstream of the P trap. There is a danger that if the trap gets blocked, waste water will fill the sink to overflowing.Which brings me to another point - There doesn't appear to be a sink overflow connected to the black spigot. I would have expected to see one.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -

True, no sink overflow however there is another smaller sink to the right of the main sink with a separate drain pipe. Would probably offer some (very?) little help in case of overflowing...0
