Budgeting bank apps

hi all,

Can anyone suggest some good apps to help with budgeting etc? I only have 1 bank account and an AMEX card so it would be nice to link them both if possible?

Also, to save opening another thread - I've got a santander 123 account which now exceeds to 20k interest boundary so I'm looking to keep this as my main account but open up a secondary account - is there anywhere offering incentives which having to move all DDs etc across as I'm quite happy with santander. Possibly looking at opening a Marcus account as they seem to be quite favourable on this site but don't want to miss out if there's something better ?

There's tons of discussion about budgeting apps on this forum - search for YNAB, EMMA, Money Dashboard, Yolt.

There's also lots of discussions about 123 and 123 Lite. The full-fat 123 has for some time not been the best interest payer for most people, and with the impending rate drop is unlikely to be a good choice for anyone. Savings accounts don't generally offer DDs. If you are looking for a switch bonus, you'd have to close your 123 account in the process. Switch offers, if there are any about, are described in this article, but I would suggest that switching accounts is not high on any bank's agenda right now.
