Booking non BA Avios Flights on-line?

Hi,
I will shortly be looking to book a JAL flight between Sydney and Tokyo using Avios. I can see on the BA website that seats are available for dates a week or so in advance of our travel date, but it won’t give me an Avios and taxes cost. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to book these without having to use the call centre?

it should work, however, if it is not calculating correctly, you will need to phone to book.

Log into your account, do flight search and be an option for booking with Avios.0
