BA flight changes

Hi all

Just after some ideas please!

A few months back we booked a holiday for 7 of us to Vegas in September. All booked through BA including accommodation. Flights from London to Vegas via Charlotte. We have just received an email saying that they are changing the time of the return flight from Charlotte to London to 3 hours earlier, but no change of the flight from Vegas to Charlotte so we are due to leave before we even get there (if that makes sense!!)

I've tried to call BA but with everything that's going on currently I obviously can't get through.

I appreciate there are people with more urgent issues but this is a really important holiday so I'm keen to make sure all goes well

Any ideas as to what will happen?

Thanks

mj

E-mail them with the booking reference.  It's important to you but not yet urgent.

It’s a computer which has rescheduled and emailed you. The same computer will also discover your LAS CTL needs to be amended. It will happen but in due course. Time is on your side. Please don’t call BA at this time.

You can also follow along on the BA.com site under Manage My Booking. All flight changes will get shown there in due course.

If it was booked as a “connecting flight” then it’s their responsibility to sort it our.

As your flights are codeshare flights operated by American Airlines (BA do not fly those routes) it may be that the BA system has not caught up all the changes from AA....you may find this happens without your intervention (there is loads of time)
Are you able to check your booking on the AA site?

And be aware that AA makes more flight changes than virtually every other airline put together! However, assuming we are all travelling by September it will get changed in due course but with so few AA flights operating at the moment, now is probably not the best time to be asking
