Moving camillia from north facing garden to front of house south facing

There are certain things to know here; Moving it, position, soil type, aspect.
First and foremost; you will need to ensure you take the whole rootball or this exercise will fail from the outset.
These plants grow naturally in shaded areas so the position you transplant it to should reflect that.
They require an acid soil to thrive.
South facing wouldn't be great as it will probably get direct sun, so unless you're recreating the whole area and making a new thick upper canopy (which is timely and costly) this is just too intense for it.
It's understandable to want to see it more to appreciate its beauty but i don't think it would be a happy plant
Oh, and don't do it now.; do it in the winter because it's actively growing now and this type of thing should be done when the plant's dormant - less chance of failure to establish.
