30 Hours Free Childcare

If a couple are earning £800 a month combined £2400 every 3 months would they be entitled to the 30 hour free childcare for 3/4 years olds?
partner 1 income: £550 a month working 12 hours a week
Partner 2 income: £250 a month working 8 hours a week (also claiming carers allowance)

    How much you earn

    You’ll need to expect to earn a certain amount over the next 3 months. This is at least the National Minimum Wage or Living Wage for 16 hours a week on average.

    For example, over the next 3 months you expect to earn at least £1,813.76 - the National Living Wage for people over 25.

    If you have a partner, they’ll need to expect to earn at least this much too.

    Partner 2 income: £250 a month working 8 hours a week (also claiming carers allowance)
    No, you can't qualify. Partner 2 would be ok as they are claiming carer's allowance but Partner 1 needs to meet the minimum work threshold.
