Car Insurance - Delivering Cakes

Hi Forum...
Looking to get some help for my daughter. She's running a cake / bun making business from home with us (council registration, insurance etc. is all done and fine) but we've hit a brick wall when it comes to the right advice for her car insurance.
She's not a "delivery van" driver or a "hot takeaway food" driver who's speeding from pillar to post, just dropping off an odd cake on a weekend or doing a round of delivering buns (maybe ten deliveries would be a maximum on a weekend day).
I know you can get Business cover on the comparison sites but I'm not sure if this will suffice? She doesn't and I don't, fancy her getting pulled over ever and not having the right insurance!
Thanks in advance! S

She will need food delivery cover. They may label it fast food but does not mean it has to be piping hot and delivered within 3 minutes.
Still food delivery.  Business cover is unlikely to cover food delivery.

Wouldn't this just be delivery of own goods and therefore normal business use?

"Normal" business cover for cars is really just for transporting you and passengers between different locations, not delivery of goods.

    I don't think I've seen such a distinction
There is a distinction with courier or food delivery but that is carrying other peoples goods.  The OP is just delivering their own goods - just happens to be food

Probably need to speak to the insurer to make sure.

Some policies will say business use just allows you to travel to several locations in the course of your business,
not just your usual single place of business/employment.

Does it matter that its food?

Some companies distinguish between business use for travelling between employment sites as to using the car in the performance of the business.
Get a quote on the comparison site then  search the company website for further information or for contact details.
