Why can't ANPR cameras look at the front plate upon entry and then again look at the front plate on exit?
I think they have to digitally record the VRM on entry and (separately) on exit.
You know what, if I was a PPC, I'd make sure that the entry representation was on a white background and the exit representation was on a yellow background, making them, to the majority, look absolutely kosher.

Just think of the extra punters I could scam!  Happy days.  Kerching, kerching! 💰
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just to add, when you emailed the SAR to the PPC, you did tell them (and the solicitor) what your current address actually is?  i.e. you specifically confirmed it and told them to ERASE the old one?   DO THAT NOW.

You cannot risk two addresses in play and cannot assume they will use the new one from now on, unless you cover your back and tell them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No reason why they cannot record the front VRM on exit.  Anyway, upon reflection, if they were to start using the front VRM, @Coupon-mad wouldn't know which end to stick her (reusable) plastic bag!

Thank you for this. I did write confirming my current address and previous address, but didn't specifically tell them to erase my old address. I assumed that would be obvious

Never assume anything is obvious to these PPCs and their scamlicitors.

I advised that it is vital to tell them to erase the old address, because this could all end in tears, with a secret CCJ at your last address, if you don't.
