    Has the valuation been done?

It's been a bit of a nightmare because the off shore offices closed they cant seem to locate a valuation being done..I have a letter from the underwriter confirming morgage approved and they will issue the offer pack once they sort the technical issues. The UK underwriters are trying to sort have sent them the correspondence from the original underwriter. Just going around in circles..

They are now viewing my application again..the uk team we have sent them the original letter email from the off shore office underwriters stating morgage approved offer pack will be issued shortly once technical issues have sorted. UK team had no recollection of this bit of a nightmare at present...not sure but will fight it as becsuse I had a confirmation approved morgage I went ahead and paid for the searches.. going around in circles at present. Any advice?

Yes morgage application was processed india..facing lack of communication with the UK team which could now cost me my morgage.
Even though we have confirmation email letter from the underwriting team to say morgage approved please let your customer know we are happy to approve and issue their morgage.
Time will tell. Very stressful also understand their is far worse people than me.

Perhaps the valuation was one of the technical issues. Have you contacted the EA to see if it was performed?
Doesn't matter what you were sent. As the one thing that wasn't issued was a formal mortgage offer.
Perhaps the conversation between you got lost in translation.

No I haven't contacted them I'll try find out..
Well the letter from the underwriters was sent approving the morgage but like you said no offer pack was issued due to technical problems ..all I can do is get the uk underwriters to see this..and just wait to see what happens.. the day after they went into lockdown had 3 hours to clear the offices.. bit of a mess at the mo..I'll have to await the outcome.. but thank you.

Advice please..they found my case with Barclays and are now saying no email should have been sent out from the underwriter stating morgage approved and offer pack to follow..technical issues  as a valuation hadn't been done.

I dont where to go from here or what I need to do. Case fitted on affordability so no issues on that.
    Any help much appreciated.

Little you can do. What are Barclays proposing to do if anything?

They have admitted to the blunder my  case ref but not intended for me. They now know that after stating to me morgage approved and will be offered I then paid for the searches on the property.
I did speak to someone really helpful and they said there mistake but ghrtr was another email sent out that afternoon about the mix up i wasnt told by that time i had already paid for the searches...they have suggested that my application will be looked at in 10 working days and that they are really sorry for the blunder. I can make a complaint but the advice given was to await the application going to the underwriter first.

Pretty rubbish to be fair more waiting.
