Gas check

I live in a housing association property and today received a text saying the gas check was booked for 20th April.
I am aware these checks still need to be done but the last one was only 2nd of August.
Would it be unreasonable of me to ask for a later date?

not unreasonable. A month ahead of the annual date is reasonable.

We are going through similar, last done in June they wanted to come last month.
Currently allowing us to defer but only for a few weeks at a time.
We are both classed as vunerable so hoping to delay until the situation improves or at least late spring.

Housing Associations usually  book 3 months in advance due to a huge proportion of no access appts.

So 3 months allows Plenty of time to rebook a number of times and customer opportunity before having to apply for injunction on the last day for access to remain legally compliant.

I'm happy for them to come 2 months before due date...but I've not had any body in my flat for 4 week and would prefer it stays that way.
Unless there is an emergency which they have already said those are the only occasions they would attend for repairs...fare enough totally agree.
    I will call on Monday.
    Thanks for the replies
